Art therapy is helpful in working with children or adults who find art to be a creative outlet. It is particularly helpful with children who struggle with learning disabilities (often the learning disabled excel in one form of the creative arts).

Emotions and thoughts are definitely expressed through art and an analysis of such artwork can help the client and therapist gain insight into the clients' thoughts and feelings, thereby assisting in your healing process.
